Arusha to Lake Manyara to Serengeti to Ngorongoro (4 Days)

Day 1:

  • In the morning, you will leave Arusha and head towards Lake Manyara National Park, a journey that will take approximately 2 hours.
  • Once you arrive at Lake Manyara, you can start by taking a game drive in the park.
  • Some of the wildlife you can expect to see in Lake Manyara include elephants, giraffes, hippos, and buffalo.
  • After completing your game drive, you will proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2:

  • After breakfast, you will leave Lake Manyara and drive to the Serengeti National Park. This journey will take about 4-5 hours.
  • Along the way, you can stop at the Olduvai Gorge, which is an important archaeological site.
  • Once you arrive at the Serengeti, you can start your game drive and enjoy the wildlife.
  • The Serengeti is known for its large herds of wildebeests, as well as lions, cheetahs, and other animals.
  • You will spend the night in a camp or lodge in the Serengeti.

Day 3:

  • After breakfast, you will explore more of the Serengeti with a full-day game drive.
    – You can also opt for a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, for a unique and memorable experience.
  • In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4:

  • After breakfast, you will leave the Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a journey that will take around 3-4 hours.
  • Once you arrive at Ngorongoro, you can explore the crater and take a game drive.
  • The Ngorongoro is home to many animals, including the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo).
  • After the game drive, you will leave the park and head back to Arusha to conclude your safari adventure.
