Bird-Watching and Wildlife Safari (12 Days)
Day 1-2: Arrival and Lake Manyara National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to Arusha where you will spend the night. The next day, we will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos. You will embark on a full day game drive and bird-watching expedition. Overnight stay will be at a camp in the park.
Day 3-5: Serengeti National Park
We will set off for the Serengeti on day 3, a journey that will transport you into the heart of wild Africa. In the Serengeti, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of bird species and mammals. Game drives will be arranged in the mornings and evenings for the best wildlife viewing experiences. Overnights will be at a Serengeti safari camp.
Day 6-7: Central Serengeti and Seronera River Valley
Explore the central part of the Serengeti, including the Seronera River Valley, known for its high concentration of wildlife. Keep an eye out for birds of prey and large cats. The region is known for its dense leopard and lion populations. We will spend two nights here to ensure a complete Serengeti experience.
Day 8-10: Ngorongoro Crater
Next, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The crater hosts a myriad of bird species, and its lake attracts flamingos. You will enjoy two full days of game drives in the crater, giving you an opportunity to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) up close. Overnights will be on the crater rim with breathtaking views.
Day 11: Return to Arusha
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, we will drive back to Arusha. You can choose to rest or explore the city at your leisure.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, we will provide a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or to your next destination. Say goodbye to Tanzania, taking back unforgettable memories of an awe-inspiring bird-watching and wildlife safari.
Throughout the safari, you will be accompanied by professional guides who are well-versed in Tanzania’s birdlife and wildlife. Your accommodation throughout the safari will be in luxury lodges or tented camps, as per your preference.
