Itinerary Summary:
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will escort you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax, acclimate, and gear up for the adventures ahead.
Day 2-3: Tarangire National Park
We start our journey with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its dense wildlife population during the dry season. Enjoy a full day game drive spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and, with luck, rare tree-climbing pythons. Stay overnight at a safari lodge inside the park.
Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
Next, we proceed to the renowned Serengeti National Park. Witness the spectacular Great Migration (season dependent), observe prides of lions, herds of elephants, and many other species. Spend two days immersed in nature, staying at a camp within the park.
Day 6: Olduvai Gorge – Ngorongoro
On our way to Ngorongoro, we make a stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge, the “Cradle of Mankind”. Learn about the archaeological importance of this site. Later, continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay on the crater rim.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. It’s a haven of wildlife, where you stand an excellent chance of spotting the Big Five. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest and an overnight stay.
Day 8-9: Lake Manyara National Park
We’ll then journey to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingos. Enjoy a game drive and optional canoe safari. The next day, indulge in a walking safari or cultural tour before spending another night in the park.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Arusha. Depending on your departure details, you may have time to explore the city or visit a local market. Our driver will then escort you to the airport for your outbound flight, marking the end of your memorable Northern Circuit Adventure.
