Itinerary Summary:
Tarangire National Park is located in northern Tanzania and is known for its large elephant and baobab tree populations. The Park also has a diverse range of other wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffalo and wildebeest. Lake Manyara National Park is also located in northern Tanzania and is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos that gather along the shores of the lake.
Full Itinerary:
Tarangire & Lake Manyara Day Trip
6:00 AM – Leave your hotel in Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park
8:00 AM – Arrive at Tarangire National Park and start your game drive. You will have a chance to see large herds of elephants, alongside a variety of other wildlife such as lions, zebras and giraffes.
12:00 PM – Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while overlooking beautiful views of the landscape
2:00 PM – Depart Tarangire National Park and drive towards Lake Manyara National Park.
3:00 PM – Arrive at Lake Manyara National Park and go on a game drive, where you can see tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, giraffes, and large flocks of flamingos on the shores of the lake
6:00 PM – Drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
In Tarangire, you can see a variety of wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and wildebeest, as well as over 550 different species of birds.
In Lake Manyara, you can see large flocks of pink flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and other wildlife such as elephants, baboons, and giraffes. Visitors to both parks will be impressed by the beautiful landscapes, including the giant baobab trees in Tarangire and the stunning views of the lake in Lake Manyara.
